Curt Anderson

Curtis Anderson is a Professor of Law at the Brigham Young University Law School. He teaches transactional skills courses in the areas of corporate formation and governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities and e-commerce, and supervises the BYU Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic. He is also a faculty member of the BYU Crocker Innovation Fellowship Program, which is an interdisciplinary, one-year innovation experience for undergraduate students from any major and where he teaches with faculty from the School of Business, College of Engineering, and Department of Design. Before coming to BYU Law, Professor Anderson was a Senior Vice President and the General Counsel of the Match Group. Prior to joining the Match Group, Professor Anderson was a partner at Baker Botts in Dallas. While in private practice, he advised public and private companies, as well as venture capital funds. He represented clients in complex mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings (debt and equity) and general corporate matters. His clients were typically technology, real estate or energy companies.
